This photo captured a very rare moment. It's set up so that the main focus is the boy and girl kissing in the middle of the street. I like this picture because it's like love in a middle of the riot going on. I think it made the cut because it's different, it kind of looks like it was set up to be this way.
This photo shows a very important moment. A mom has made it back home and is happy to see her daughter. In the picture you can tell how much she has missed her and all the emotion. I chose this photo because I think it must be hard to be away from someone for so long and it always feels good to reunite. I think it made the cut because it's a woman coming home to her daughter not a man.

This photo shows emotion. His dad has passed away and he's being handed the flag. I chose the picture because it reminded me of when my mom got handed the flag at my grandpa's funeral. I think this picture made the cut of the top 40 photos ever because it shows emotion from not an adult but a child.
